What to wear to a boudoir photo shoot?

Sometimes the abundance of options makes us feel confused ... This is also the case when preparing for a boudoir photo session. Today I will tell you what underwear is best for a boudoir session...

Lace or latex, black stockings or candy pastels...?

I will write right away that there is no one right choice for each of you, because each of you is different. It is important to match your outfit, even if it is very skimpy, to your character, temperament, preferences... Of course, the session is also a good excuse to dress up as someone else and play pretend. Perhaps you will discover a more sensual side of yourself that remains hidden on a daily basis...? It happens that women put on stockings for the first time during a photoshoot session with me...

The first and most important point – the right size! Underwear for a boudoir session cannot be too small, because it will cut too much into the curves. It also cannot be too loose, as it will not offer adequate support. However, if we have a dilemma about what size to choose - it is better to choose one that is a little too big than too small...

So we've sorted out the size issue - now it's time to choose the style. The most important thing is that it suits you and how you want to present yourself in photos...

Lingerie for a boudoir session – the most popular choices

Bodysuits

This is probably one of the most popular underwear options for a boudoir session, especially for women who want to slightly camouflage their belly. Which ones will you choose? Made entirely of romantic, transparent lace or more covered and supportive? Some bodysuits have soft cups, others are more stiff or even push-up. There are bodysuits in standard sizes (from XS to XXXL) or with cups adjusted to your bust (A-H). They can be found in every color of the rainbow and in a variety of styles. You will definitely find one that suits your taste!

Stockings

An extremely sensual and feminine choice for a boudoir session wardrobe is a garter belt and stockings, most often combined with sky-high stilettos. Classic black dominates here, although other colors are also available. When choosing stockings, it is better to choose a slightly larger size than usual, so that they do not cut into the thighs. Also they should not be self-supporting, because the silicone makes it difficult to attach to the belt. Just like bodysuits, garter belts also vary. We can choose more delicate ones, with only stripes that reveal a lot of the body, or more built-up ones in a retro style. Stockings look even more impressive with high heels. Most of us don't wear high heels every day, so this might be a chance to pull them out of your wardrobe!

A bra and panty set in any color

It is a good idea to bring at least one well-fitting to your figure (and breasts), undamaged set, consisting of a bra and panties, in your favorite style, to the session. Our feminine charms are beautifully showcased by the balconette cut, thongs or Brazilians, but the most important thing is that YOU feel sensual and comfortable in this set. The color can be completely any. Many of you choose classic black or sensual red, but you don't have to limit yourself to these shades. Maybe innocent white, or pastels that harmonize beautifully with tanned skin, or maybe saturated colors like dark green or navy blue? The options are endless! Maybe we won't use it during the session because you'll fall in love with what my wardrobe has to offer - but it's better to be prepared for various possibilities.

Slip/ Neglige

Extremely feminine, classic, with a hint of mystery. It can be finished with lace or smooth. If you don't want to show too much of your body and at the same time want to look tempting - this is the perfect solution for you! They cover the hips and belly, focusing attention on the neckline, collarbones, arms, legs... The silk slip shines phenomenally in photos, you will look like a star in it. Or maybe you will choose a more retro style, complete with stockings?… As always – choose a color and style that suits your beauty and character…

Glitz and Glitter

Do you want to shine in front of the camera - literally? Sequins or glitter make a stunning impression and are worth considering for your boudoir session. A mesh bodysuit with crystals is a hit among my clients. You can complete this look by attaching nipple pads. Or maybe body chains that will turn even an ordinary set into a stage outfit worthy of a burlesque star?

Corset The corset is a classic element of women's wardrobe that has recently experienced a renaissance. It beautifully highlights the waist and bust, and thanks to the lacing on the back, it can be perfectly adjusted to your figure. It is also available as a half-corset (belt) that ends under the bust. Pay attention to the quality of workmanship, because in the case of corsets it is extremely important! Cheap corsets from Chinese websites are unlikely to look good…
